I know as soon as I say this, something will happen, but I think I'm back on track. I'm training consistently and doing hard workouts.
This past weekend was pretty successful:
Friday ran with the running group to do 4.5 miles
Saturday biked 41 miles
Sunday ran 9 miles around White Rock Lake
I tallied it up in my head yesterday, and this week I ran just about 19-20 miles and swam 5,000+ meters (but only biked 41).
Not too shabby! I'm getting back my groove and in time for half Iron training for October.
However, it seems that every day it's getting harder and harder to get out of bed. My joints are so stiff! I really shouldn't be feeling that way. I'm taking fish oils/EFAs, a multivitamin, eating better than I have in a while. What's the deal? I can also tell when my hips are misaligned when I'm walking and running, and that doesn't help any other part of my body. I need to see my chiropractor and masseuse more regularly again as I did during Ironman training! Too bad he can't work from my office.....
