I do love hills...

It's been awhile, but I do love hills. And it's a sad thing that I don't get on my bike often enough - it's my best of the three sports in triathlon! My mind is clearer and has more 'room' to roam and think about the weirdest and strangest things or about work, home, etc - more so than when running or swimming.

I will say, though, that I was a bit more cautious since we've had about 7 bike/car accidents with 2 deaths and 2 still in the hospital. Horrible.

It was a short workout as I started late, but I left from my parents' house (I love riding out there!) and rode around on the hills for an hour, rode up to the restaurant my family was having dinner at, and rode back to their house afterward (which was kinda hard after having some Mexican food!). Only 22 miles, but it was a worthy 22 - hills, hills and more hills! And in the heat.

Before that, I got the chance to hang out with my cousin's 1 1/2 year old daughter. Pics will come later. Even though she's technically my second cousin, I see them pretty often enough that she should call me Aunt Jacqi. :)
